English Teacher/Sterling Scholar Advisor
Graduate of Morgan High School
Graduage of Weber State University with a B.S. in Teaching English and Health Education Minor
Level II Reading Endorsement
I began teaching English part time at Morgan High School for the 2004-2005 school year. After three years, I began to teach full-time.
This will be my 19th year of teaching, with most of my time spent teaching English Language Arts.
I also serve as the Sterling Scholar Coordinator/Advisor for Morgan High School, a job I love!!!
Prior to teaching, I worked in the real estate title industry. That is a busy, exciting industry and I learned many skills and met fabulous people.
I was born and raised in Morgan, the daughter of a sheep rancher and homemaker. I have 3 brothers and 4 sisters and many nieces and nephews.
I am married to Bill Pentz and have two children: Lizzy and Alex.
Lizzy attends Weber State University and is studying early childhood special education and currently teaches preschool.
Alex is a graduate of Morgan High School and currently works on our family farm. He loves to watch all sports, excels in math and science, and can fix any farm equipment needing fixed!
In addition to my love for reading, I enjoy being outside doing any sort of work. I enjoy walking my dogs and working with my family on our farm to take care of our horses, cows, dogs, and cats. I enjoy listening to country music, cooking, and quilting. I collect antique farm and household items and decorative tin containers.
My absolute favorite drinks are ice water and flavored Diet Coke!
